It is false and unprofessional o sell one's book by claiming scientific medicine is part of the problem rather than the answer to improving pet health. Such claims are patently nonsense given the number of diseases scientific medicine has eliminated or greatly diminished in a few decades, and they are simply a form of fear-mongering for marketing purposes. The vague nature of the claims, and the portrayal of himself as a Dan Brown character discovering the "hidden secrets" of health and disease overlooked by everyone should be a source of shame for Dr. Jones and a clue to the rest of us that he is peddling snake pil, not health care.
