San Diego has been a haven for dog owners for a long time, as the weather is great and the city features some of the most beautiful recreational areas, parks and beaches. Local Eddie Cheddar worked as a security guard at night and hugely depended on his pet dog Pilate for company. Pilate was a Labrador that was very loyal to Eddie but developed the nasty habit of chewing on everything on sight.
