As much as we love our dogs, we can all agree that when we look at the outgoing costs involved in keeping one as a pet can seem to be excessive. We go ahead and pay the money, of course, because our pets mean the world to us. The most recent announcement from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) concerning pet treats manufactured by California based Pet Carousel is that they may be contaminated with the bacterium Salmonella. Salmonella is a pathogen to both humans and animals.
