A pet’s heart is just as susceptible to wearing out and experiencing pain as a human heart. It requires proper care and needs to be kept in good condition through good diet and exercise. There are many causes of congenital heart disease most of them are hereditary. Hence it is a good idea to have puppies screened when they are six to eight weeks old.

Summer is the most anxiously awaited season of the year for pets. The warm sunny sky gives them the opportunity to go outside and get proper exposure to the outdoors. However, too much exposure to heat can be bad for their health. Pet owners must therefore exercise caution during summer and look after their pets so they don’t end up hurting themselves while having fun in the great outdoors.
