Bringing a new protection dog into the home can be a wonderful experience, and a great addition to the family that adds both loyalty and protection. It is likely you will not know the exact age of a cat if it is adopted or a stray. If you have just acquired a cat and need to know its age, read on. When you are trying to guess your cat’s age, you should look at the teeth, which will provide a good clue. Talk to a vet to get a more accurate age. You can determine how old a kitten is by how many teeth it has.

The American Bobtail Cat is the only breed of cat I know of that has a really cool story as to its origins. Well, maybe. Actually the origin of the American Bobtail Cat seems to be in dispute. Depending on who you ask, it may or may not even be American at all. According to some sources, there was a feral brown tabby kitten found on an Arizona Indian Reservation with a bobbed tail in the 1960′s.
