It’s no surprise that dogs have a natural tendency to explore and learn more about the world around them. On the leash, they excitedly pull us this way and that as they smell something interesting and dive in for a closer smell. This is unfortunately why thousands of dogs end up lost each year; they decide they need to satisfy their curiosities and the next thing we know they are gone.
