The question of whether or not a dog (or other animal) should ever be left in a car is, to some, debatable. But, once the facts are taken into consideration, the issue isn’t up for debate. You may see it quite often as you’re driving around town: dogs riding in the back of trucks. You might even do it yourself. Why not? It seems so convenient to just load them up in the back and take them with you. It’s safe, right? Unfortunately, it’s not safe at all. According to the Humane Society of the United States, 100,000 dogs are killed each year in accidents involving riding in truck beds.

We love traveling with our dogs. Whether across town or across country we take them along. But what happens if you have an accident. Worse yet, what would happen to your dog if you are hurt bad enough you have to go to the hospital? If you are unconscious or so badly shaken that you go into shock, chances are the animal control officer would be called to the scene to take charge of your dog.

One benefit of private jet travel is the opportunity to take the pride and joy of the family with you in the main cabin.
