The Bala Shark, scientific name Balantiocheilos Melanopterus, isn’t really an actual shark but was named as such because of its appearance, which features silver coloring and tall dorsal fins. They make an excellent addition to an aquarium due in part to their mild-temperament as well as their beauty and grace.

Freshwater fish are perhaps the easiest fish to care for in comparison to saltwater species because they are usually hardier. A basic aquarium set up will be required. You will need a tank, some rocks or substrate to line bottom of the tank. You will also need a filter, and some lighting. The fish in your tank must be compatible in terms of temperature, P.H. and food requirements.

As with many animal species, the male Fancy Guppies are more beautiful than the female Fancy Guppies. Males come in a large variety of bright colors, like red, gold, black, blue and green- while females tend to only have gray or tan colors. These fish look most beautiful in aquariums when you have several of them to swim together. Fancy Guppies like warmer aquarium waters.
